IT Support (Virtual)

  • Performing routine software and system updates
  • Installing new hardware
  • Performing daily system backups
  • Updating operating systems
  • Answering technical queries
  • Troubleshooting any possible tech problems
  • Ability to diagnose and mitigate basic network connectivity issues.
  • Researches, designs and tests image builds.
  • Works with other IT team members and implements desktop related projects as needed.
  • Installs, configures and maintains computer hardware, peripherals and applications consistent with IT standards and processes.
  • Stays current with new and emerging technologies and recommends implementation to improve customer satisfaction, reduce cost or provide a competitive advantage.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to desktop systems and peripherals.
  • Organizational and communication skills
  • Strong documentation and customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of Windows OS: XP, Vista, 7, 8/8.1, 10
  • Ability to assist users via remote support tools or at the user’s desk.
  • Self-Starter
  • Ability to work on projects remotely and provide exceptional customer service
  • 1-2  years  help desk work experience desired


Position is Independent Contractor 1099, Part-Time on-call
